bro hatag mo sa Acad2008 be
ADT user here and i have question:
i like to move some of my files from architectural desktop to autocad because its the only cad app i know that natively supports windows xp64bit, so will i still see some of the features in ADT thats in autocad 2008?
architectural desktop if im not mistaken is just AutoCAD with the design menu add-on to insert pre made blocks??
what version are you using?, im using architectural desktop 3.3 and autoCAD 2008 and i jump from either because im used to ADT but for new files i go with 2008
as far as i know you can do all the same with 2008 minus the design center
Diba naa man AutoCAD Architecture 2008?Originally Posted by archille

Autodesk just changed the name. I'm not just sure about the 64bit compatibility though.
ADT user pud ko sauna but dili kaayo nako gamit. Murag 2d autocad gihapon gamit nako sa ADT.
Anyone who is using here Revit?

@manoyjoe:
I agree. Gamit gyud kaayo.
Have you ever tried using Revit or any parametric drawing program?
sadly no
ive been groomed for autocad hehehe
but if revit is easy as you say, i am now considering it as a companion to autocad
bitaw, i still use both.Originally Posted by manoyjoe
autocad = 2d lang. import to revit.
revit = 3d modeling.
but if kaya ra nako i-drawing ug 2d sa revit, revit gyud ko. naa pa man gud ko old drawings from autocad so import nalang.
daghan man gud kaayo advantages ang revit para nako.
like example:
if sa autocad, change ka floor plan, change ka elevations and sections.
sa revit, automatic na siya. you don't have to worry kung unsa ang hitsura sa elevations and sections nimo.
i could post here many more reasons... but sa sunod nasad.![]()
good day sa inyo tanan...
how about MCAD (Mechanical Desktop) its parametric also, no need to make 2d, or floor plan....
you only have to make a 3dmodel and then generate your plans, elevation, section, det, etc..
and if ever there are changes in your design, (since it is parametric) just revise your model and your plans. elev. etc will update the changes. You can also open your drawing to (Bentley) MicroStation V8.
Also AutoCAD dili na tingali nako pwede makalimtan kay 11years dako na kaayo ug part sa akong life
But i could say na dili kay sa autocad lang ko kutob i'm open to other CAD software...
sakto swane
gnhan pud ko mkat on ug max ug maya gani
