    NIV:Isaiah 14:12
How you have fallen from heaven, "O morning star", son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

    NIV: Revelation 22:16,
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you [1] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

    NIV: 2 Peter 1:19,
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

    NIV: Revelation 2:28--
I will also give him the morning star.

    God bless.

I've been pondering about Lucifer's rebellion ever since I was a kid. If God is all-powerful and all-knowing, then why would an angel, who ought to know better, would think of rebelling against him?

I mean, if Lucifer knows that there is a 0% probability of succeeding, then why would he do such a foolish act? It would imply that Luficer is an irrational being (which I highly doubt) or that the probability of succeeding is not 0%, or at least he feels that way. If he feels that way, then why? Is it because Lucifer knows that God allows evil to flourish as a logical consequence of free will? If that is the case, then why does Lucifer thinks that God will allow it to flourish to the point that there would actually be a real chance of overthrowing God?

Of course, I don't believe that Lucifer is omniscient. But I do believe that he is nearly is. If Lucifer is unable to predict that he will not win in the end, God's plan must be really that complex to comprehend.

Hmmmn. I have similar questions too, and unfortunately, the exact answers to that are wayyy beyond me.

I can only reflect on the idea that we humans are not too different from Satan in that we have been setting ourselves up against God from the very beginning. Pathetic.

'tis a very good thing He made a way.

bitaw bro..nag ponder sad jud ko ani..God, in the Christian sense man gud, is more prevailing than evil so naglibog ko ngano wala naka predict si God sa pag rebel ni Satan..and nganong wala jud na suppress ang rebelion until now?

..unlike sa uban religion like Catharism nga equal ra ang power sa good ug evil so maka reason out ra sila why evil still exists
