if sub-compact sedans pd, nothing beats the vios. economy, maintenance/services, spare parts, etc. even comfortability is there. space is great too. you can never go wrong with it kana if you view your car as an appliance not your baby. if you want a car and you're planning to treat it like a baby, vw golf is the answer hehe imo gyud ni baby2-hon kay mahal kaayo ang srp, mahal pa ang mga piyesa. hehehe
sakto, dili diay na "compact cars" TS , mini/smart car i think diay na or a-segment cars. b-segment mga vios, city, etc... c-segment mga corolla, civic, etc...

by the way, ang mga latest nga vios/city, they are not that "fuel efficient"... naa ra sa 1:8 or 1:9 city driving... mo naog gani kuno og 1:7 usahay (matic na ha)... my suspect is that nanagko ang ilang mga kaha but the engines are still the same thus more work and FC for the engines.

pero in the long run sad boss, like if you plan to keep the car for 10 years or so, economy gihapon ang vios kay di na kahinanglan ug casa after sa warranty hehe pwede ra sa mga kilid2 nga talyer kay maski i blindfold pa kaya na kaayo nila ang vios ayohon. ehehe kuwang nlng asta mga pharmacy mamaligya na ug parts sa vios

like earlier suggested, test drive mo lahat ng options mo. Get a feel on saan ka pinaka comfortable then study their respective specs.
When i was in the market for a sub-compact/hatchback car, that's what i did po. Best sana talaga sa hatchbacks ang Jazz pero dili kaya ng budget hehehe.

Picanto and Eon are lookers IMO but Eon has a weaker engine (0.8L compared to 1.0/1.2L sa Picanto, Celerio or Wigo). Among your choices, Celerio has the best fuel economy even if AT.
I chose a Picanto MT cause i liked it's looks/feel when i did a test drive, never considered yung Wigo, just didn't like the looks (that's just me po).
