Vocation has two possible meanings so it can be either career, occupation or profession or the other one which is divine calling to a religious life.
Personally, I tried both. I was a theology student before for 2 years but I got out coz of things that I found out and weren't answered. Instead, I got into the call center industry and worked for 7 years. Thankfully, I managed to stop working sa call center and franchised my own agency and thankful kayo ko coz I get to serve our fellow Filipinos and it's a very noble profession mao nga murag in line ra pod kayo akoang gibuhat karon sa gibuhat naku sa una.
