USA's win over Virgin Islands was a birthday gift for Kobe Bryant. Michael Redd has been scorching hot lately and has been USA's second leading scorer after Carmelo Anthony. USA is really prepared for the European teams, Redd can fire it up from the outside, he can give the Europeans a challenge from outside.

a player the caliber of Michael Redd who can stroke it from outside was the missing piece in all the disappointing dream teams of late...they really need shooters like him

Yes, I saw how Team U.S. annihilates their opponents the first two games of the tournament. Pero base on my analysis si Kidd ug Redd ang nkapa solid nila this time. The great passing with a perimeter shooting like that would surely whacks any team will play against them. Hey, how about Greece and Spain? Not to mention the trigger happy Germans? Sa akong nahibaw an kusug na daw muhansak ang mga Europian centers, not like before nga mo flop lang sa body contact. I love team USA but they still need improvements, internationally.

Argentina can't even get close, USA is simply too much. There's no question about their scoring capability but what makes them more deadlier is Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, and the whole team playing team oriented basketball and they play defense. Kidd, James and the rest of the forwards plays the defends the passing lanes and the zone very well while Dwight Howard, Amare Stoudemire and even Tyson Chandler dominates or intimidates the inside.

For now, we still haven't seen the best of this USA Team.

Yep, naa moy point diha mga bro. Pero lets forget about Venezuela n Virgin Islands kay mga weak teams mana sila sa Americas, even Philippines can compete against them. But then if Team USA will succeed all the way to the Gold Medal this coming Olympics, usa ra jud ang key ana... its not the line up.. but definitely the teamwork. Pero if mo fail ang US team for their bid for Gold.. U can blame Kobe, Melo and Lebroom kay mga primay ballhogs mani sila. That's why ila gikuha si Kidd kay para mo timon sa barko nga nadasmag pag 2004 Olympics. To gain back the respect that being tarnished. Pass more Team USA, pass more.. pero ayaw lang e fancy kay unneccessary nah

Copy on that fellow.. yes of course the've improved sa backcourt ug sa coaching. But don't expect a TEAM to play like a team all the time, sometimes they have to be unpredictable specially sa passing ug go to guy set up sa mga plays. Just try to watch Europian League.. and You'll see how a team works.. Im talking about a team here again. Mr. Stern knows how much I love his players, but somehow I still can feel that USA Team still struggles in the zone.. They are the hypes of the coming Olympics, but with no guarantee success.. The ball is round.. and the world is round too.. and the world owns basketball.. not TEAM U.S., and the NBA proved that a couple of weeks ago when the Spurs win it all having Duncan, Oberto, PArker & Ginobili as core line up (international cogs). I hope pwidi nako ma analyst ani.. hehehehh
