Cannot Ping these computers... help.

btaw bro, basin ang AVG mao nag reason dli ka ping, basin gblock niya ang ICMP port sa duha ka PC

In my network, ComputerA wont ping ComputerB... so ako gi-check ang ComputerB. It turns out ang ComputerB dili pud ka ping sa ComputerA (request time out). Libog jud ko kay sa tanan computers kani rapud 2 dili mag kita sa network. Both computers A and B can ping all other computers, can ping the router, and both can access the internet... pero dili lang jud ka kita each other.

I checked their configuration they have the same workgroup, same IP range (static)..., and same subnet. Both walay firewall, AVG anti-virus ra naka install sa duha, and Win XP Home SP2 ila OS.

Any ideas unsaon pag troubleshoot? thanks...

bro, since naa kay router.. set the dhcp sa router and you can try changing your static IP to dynamic, mas sure pa nga dli mag same ang IP then ang dhcp na bahala sa config. restart pc and try to ping vice versa.

If the router has IP 192.168.0.1, set PC1 to 192.168.0.2 and PC2 to 192.168.0.3.
Check that ICMP is not blocked by any firewall on that PC's.

bro, enter the web base config sa router bro kay basin lahi nga IP ang gi use... (worst case lang ni ako kay nag kita raman ang lain pc noh?).... or check other config kay basin ang range sa IP nga gi set sa muha router is gamay ra, try ug dungag..
for example: ip range: 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.5 ra ang range nga na set, so ang 192.168.1.6 and so on kay dli gyud makit-an kay out of range na sya.

ed_ebs: actually ang IP sa problematic PC isa 192.168.1.4 and the other computers ila IP mas higher pa... kutob 192.168.1.24 and okay man sila.
