Th situation in Makati do imply that poverty and the lack of intellect of the filipino people is the main cause why we have corrupt officials within our folds. Democracy do exist in the Philippines but it is twisted to suit the personal desires of these personalities who are suppose to be servants. Actually what's being practiced is authoritarian through poltical maneuvers, use of political power, and of course possibilties of threats.

Corrupt naman gyud kaayo daan atong mga politiko, maskig si kinsa pana sila. I say 8/10 politiko sa ato diri puros corrupt. Naa lang gyud uban nga astang dako-ag og gipang kuha sa ato abot og milliones hehe
