Honest people will have equal footing to run for public office because there will be no dynasty and there is an FOI that will shield them from people who have malicious intent.

Sa current set of legislators nato karon, kung mopasar silag FOI within Pnoy's term as House Speaker Belmonte promised, its either half-bake, incomplete and/or vague ra nga law. In the end advantage ra gihapon nila ang ilang huna-hunaon unsaon nalang kung masakpan sila.

Naay possibility nga ma point nato unsa nga state ug kinsa nga leader ang pinaka corrupt hahaha

Anyway FOI raman jud need sa atoa maski pag naay dynasty. Kay as long as ang citizen is empowered to file cases against corrupt officials, no amount of LOLO, LOLA, PAPA, or MAMA nimo sa politika matakabang nimo.

Question: Naay politicians currently in office advocating for a change to a federal government?

    Nevermind:

Also, Toledo man ang gihimong capital sa central visayas. (Ingon sila nindot itanday didto sa imo asawa kay bugnaw man perme.)

Offtopic somewhat: everytime foi and anti dynasty bill are discussed, i shake my head in disbelief. If indeed we are serious, there's a simple suggestion of one term limits on all elected and appointed positions. Somehow, this simple line of thinking escapes the media and the so called advocates of anti dynasty movement.. oh please. FOI? Redundant and still doesnt achieve anything. Public office is supposed to be accountable to the people, that should include information. But politicians still lie, right? Foi is inferior to the essence of holding public office, what makes us think it will help? This is naivete at its worst.

I agree on this. I don't sense unity from the imperial Manila.

I am still skeptical for the Philippines to undergo into a federal state, if segmented a lot of supposed states could not stand on it's own feet, On the other hand we are a very small country compared with the US, we would become much weaker as a nation if federalism is imposed. What we should do is to overhaul the systems within the COMELEC and strengthen it for I still believe that some people out there could still make the change and thus the right persons we should put in place within the government.
