Bands / Artists who have the pangmasa appeal always had the upperhand..No doubt homz, These bands have an extra shove against yo uberly andergrawnd kolektibols..LOL,
No matter how good yo artists are [listening through a musician's ear] they will never match the mass appeals of the billboard chart hitting pangmasa bands. Everything has politics in it even the music industry, You know somebody from the top? You following the footsteps of a fad genre? And most importantly You got mass appeal? Then expect yo band in the next hit chart... Wahahahahaha... Thats the m'f'ckng truth..

i just hope that the future of the music scene here would prioritize musical integrity as one of the factors why people listen to music... music that is not spoonfed to everybody just to make profit hypnotizing people with bland songs and advertisements..

may unta maabot na ang time nga most genres of music would target musicians and average listeners simultaneoulsy, quality, sensible music...

i think Tha Truth has a point..

the next Big Thing is what appeals to that masses ears... and that's what brought CUESH*T there ... ako lang nang gi generalize ang CUEH*T ha kay sila may best example sa banda nga niappeal sa GayCore/Pogi Rock (with-Jay-stomping-his-feet-while-Rueben-is-singing-style-of-singing..).. na in return ni appeal sa ears sa masa sa Manila.. and they are earning big bucks.... so "BIG" means money sa akong statement....

click 5, hanson, the calling, etc.. etc.. i know they weren't boy bands when they started but i think they got picked up by labels because of the "CUTENESS" FACTOR... hehehehe...
