Last night nag brownout samoa, I am not using AVR on my rig my PSU is directly plug in sa outlet. Suddenly, pag turn on nako sa akong PC, "Power Supply Surges detected" press F1 to continue.

Unsa maka suggest ninyo nga UPS w/ belt in AVR?

ups with avr ni akoang APC 500va ok na guro na ang 650va oi hahahaha ako ra gi combohan ug tag 500 aditional avr para sure

the concerns when plugging directly to wall outlets are the ff:
1. power spikes / irregularities / fluctuations
2. split second power cut off
3. lightning strike

solution for 1: AVR most recommended are the servo types
solution for 2: Power Delay
solution for 3: Surge Protection / earth grounding (but uncommon to filipino households)

naay AVR nga maayong klase that has all in one solution for above mentioned.

for General recommendation if you really worry about this, get a Reputable UPS.

pwede rana, it varies lang sa amount of time the battery can give you backup power depending pod sa total load sa imong system when the power is cut off.

in a basic office computer, a 600VA UPS can power it approx 12mins. The higher the specs, the more peripherals, the more load your system draws, it will substantially reduce the amount of backup time, so better plan it carefully.

how fast ka maka shutdown sa imong pc, or get a UPS with proprietary communication software that can send alarm to your pc for battery low, and can even execute shutdown sa pc.

I guess redundant na ang AVR + UPS.. just 1 good ups is sufficient... the good reason to avoid this kind of setup is during operation; AVR consumes power; UPS consumes power too... that's almost 10-15 (estimated only) watts waste of power.

AVR if your line is noisy and unstable. UPS if you need proper shutdown of system during power interruption.

@AMD_infinium05 thanks kaayo sa information bro, 650VA APC UPS worth it sa akong RIG? what are your other brand recommendations? i don't what to happen this again, so i am planning to buy it rather than risking my PC. And yes i'll just use this one just in case mag brown out, afterwards will just shutdown my PC.

@TS if naay pitik.. sa PSU nah gikan.. if naa pitik tungod nah kay naga.fluctuate ang imong supply sa kuryente.. obvious kaau ni nga mga pitik if naa kay silingan nga ga.welding.. if i wer you.. m.palit q ug Servo Type nga AVR.. Ive used nah servo type AVR sauna.. cool kaau cya kay once m.fluctuate ang kuryente m.adjust cya sa iyang output para stable ang imong supply sa imong PC.. mka.detect gud q ato kung mag.brownout kay m.tingog ang akong AVR..hehehe.. if you want, pwede nga UPS connect nimo to Servo Type AVR then Connect to PC..
