hehehe, 50 cent baho btw kaayo siya tan awon, but im not saying he's a poser,......... anyway one of my friends says that lets keep the good bands underground while the posers popular, he's difinitely right....... dili lang sad ko mo post kung kinsa ni ang mga poser og kinsa ang dili posers, para si footlose ray mabuthan sa tanan, esp. the younger generations are furious about this topic..........

I don't think METAL MUSIC is about technical prowess at all.. METAL is one sided... most of the songs kay preha ra... gabas gabas, blast beats, etc...

A Poser is someone who pretends to be something he is not..

Limp Bizkit or Fred Durst never pretended to be anything else.. or Mudvayne, Static-X, Korn ... they're classified as New Metal and they play new metal, and that's it.

This is all just stupid name-calling. Either the bands or artists he calls "posers" are successful in the mainstream or fail to make it on the list of "cool" or "in" bands of stereotypes. You easily fall into the trap that mainstream music is always stupid, or that underground music is always cool, or bands that first start out are at their best compared to their newer releases--- therefore, sadly making you... a stereotype.

I agree with tingkagol, i may not like some of the bands you label as "posers", pero i won't go as far as to call them posers. stereotype ra kaayo. although i tnk c justine timberlake kai ghetto wannabe jud. bwahahaha peace justine fans!

why i call korn as poser, simple, di kahibalo mo shred sa ila guitar 2 finger chord ra na sila, and claiming to be metal, metal music is about technical prowess not about how heavy your music is or how loud you can scream, plus they use 7 string and the guitars are mediocre, listen to john petrucci of dream theater he uses seven string and he plays his guitar so well, thats pure talent not a poser....... the truth is mas heavy metal pa ang poison kumpara sa korn og limp bizkit.....isagol tanan guitarista sa korn og limp bizkit, di katunga ni c.c. devile(poison)

"alternative" is anything that is not mainstream. example of alternative music is punkrock, metal, grunge. ok? and during the 90's grunge music is the ultimate alternative music thus some people wrongfully dubbed grunge music as alternative. and i happen to think that ur one of those that's why i posted as such.

yeah ezra is ryt... i think korn was labelled (i hate labels but we need it to differentiate) as nÜ breed metal. dba daghan man sub genre ang metal? naa heavy metal, naa black metal, naa death metal, naa gothic, naa slaughter house rock, naa hair metal (apil poison ani. AKA glam rock) and naa sad kanang gi-tawag na rap metal...
