compatible na tanan soundcard, nagdepende lang na sa output, if you want nga normal stereo lng din no need to buy a 4.1 or 5.1 soundcard use your built-in soundcard... ang imo creative sytem speaker is using an analog input both front and rear. so in this case to fully utilize 4.1 mode of your system, you need a soundcard that can output both front and rear.... if that mobo is old maybe it can only output front, unlike the new ones which can be configured to a desired output, front, rear and center... or palit ka bag-o nga PCI soundcard creative 5.1, creative Live! 24-bit or other soundcard nga mosupport ug 5.1 channel.... just don't mind the center channel kay wala man na sa imo inspire 4400

after you know your motherboard model, check there site if you don't have the manual, and try to see if your motherboard built-in souncard can do 4.1/5.1 mode... and check the configuration....

compatible ra tanan speakers sa any soundcard. pero if you really want to hear the capability of your speaker. buy a creative audigy soundcard. bisag kato lang audigy1... support man to ug 4.1 ug 5.1 speakers... pero kung dili kaayo ka particular ug spectacular sounds, especially in you games... ok ra ang imong built sound card sa motherboard. mahibaw-an na nimo, kay naay saksakanan sa likod. kanang green nga audio jack.

guys,
actually particular ko sa sounds. i went 2 pc quickbuys n tti in sm...they recommended sumting...tag 2k kapin but not more than 2.5...creative live sumting...5.1 but pwde daw sa 4.1. is that ok? i dont think its d audigy series. bu t i read sumwer here dat d audigy series s better than the live series. how true?

creative live! 24-bit is capable of that... up to 7.1 channel man seguro na siya... didto na lng sa application software i change ang mode 7.1, 5.1, 4.1 or 2.1 dpende na nimo...

no, ang creative live! supports only 5.1 channel. dili na siya pwede ug 7.1 only the audigy2 ang makasupport ug 7.1 speakers.
