Talking about Unified Threat Management devices ( mao ni uso ron), i ended up with Juniper SSG5.
my selection was Juniper, SonicWall and Fortinet. Unfortunately, no supplier quoted for the fortinet. Downside of SonicWall, per connection iyang package....the more you connect the more you pay.
I did not bother to ask for Cisco since the device will be placed in our satellite office ( Think it will be expensive. ) Was even willing to try the DLINK firewall but supplier was too lazy to quote. Also looked at Proventia of ISS , very nice product but no knowledgeable supplier here in Cebu.
Was after AV and antispyware protection at the gateway level. I was also after the webfilter ( powered by surfcontrol ) to control the web access of users. I have no feedback yet to its efficiency though. btw, these features have an annual subsription.
I havent explored the device thoroughly but by browsing the manual ( manual consists of 2000+ pages) , the devices is very flexible and has a lot of features. ( most of it you wont use in a small business ).
Bottom line why i got the product was for the features, price, availability, and support. Hope this helps.

we share ideas between the two products since we are both in IT.

But still my vote is for Cisco...
