i dunno but i've had my share of hip-hop friends even played bass for a hip hop band back in '97 (we played the roots, cypress hill and compo stuff)

i heard form my ol' bandmates that u can't talk ghetto unless ur from the ghetto... frontin versus keepin' it real and stuff (i dunno... i just played for 'em and i never dug deep enough in terms of culture and all)

it really bothers me a bit bro. coz all these ebonics (hip-hop slang and black-speak) is starting to paint a picture of that dude in "pretty fly for a white guy" video

so i just want to hear ur side of it. coz a few months ago u speak/post normal english and all of the sudden u changed into this outta-the-bronx ghetto slang speaking dude and its making me uncomfy. i've been to the states several times and even "normal" white hip-hop dude don't speak that way. only the blacks. the asians have their own thing and the chicanos have their own thing too. and i heard using slangs from a certain group is like stealin a part of their culture. i really don't now. i dont have that much hip-hop friends to be an authority.

when u say "later B." or "sup B." what does that mean?

coz all the while i thought u only say that to girls or if not u say that to a person whose name starts with the letter "b"

like this guy from LBC who i used to work with. he always say "sup X" and "later X" if he is talking to me coz my nick name starts with letter "X"
