uhmm, they existed way before Jesus. their belief does not fall under the Christian umbrella...but that does not also mean they are of evil nature automatically either. :mrgreen:

Witchcraft has been portrayed in present-day literature as the work of the Devil. - Because people have a tendency to condemn things they do not understand. The church obviously sees it as a threat. Why on earth would they go and do such a massive smear campaign if they didn't feel Wicca (that's how its called by the way) was not a threat to their existence. Its because more and more people mostly women are drawn to Wicca because its the worship of nature, the worship of the goddess and gives power to the woman.

When the popular series Harry Potter became sensational, there were even parents who protested to schools who have the series available for their children in the school library? Its because those parents are ignorant, period. Who have obviously never read the HP books. There are dark witches and white witches in the same way as there are mean and good people. Its the person that does evil or good. How many people out there who have been empowered to pick up a book and start reading because their love for the Harry Potter series sparked they love of reading? Thousand and millions.

What is the real history of witchcraft? Witchcraft or Wicca existed even before Christianity because it is the worship of nature. Its the trees, the wind, the earth and goddess.

Is there such thing as good witch or warlock? Like I said, it depends on the person.

What is the history, explanation, and your understanding of this once feared individuals who walks the earth in proud numbers? For centuries many people where burned and killed for worshipping the nature religion. During the Inquisition or the Salem Witch hunt many Wiccans and non-wiccans and even Jews were punished, tortured and eventually killed just because they chose not to be catholic.

Witches and Warlocks? Who are they? What are they? And where they are right now? Witches are everywhere. I have friends who are wiccans and they look like anybody you or i know. No they don't dress all in black, have a pointy hat and ride on the broom.
