perhaps you need a good guide to show you around. just like in real life,when you're new to a place, if you don't have someone to show you around (and perhaps buy you clothes? lol for me a pair of bikinis) then you'd feel down.

but that's just for me.

Yes, but we're not in the job of "Welcoming" people in SL Perhaps some other company will cater to that need once it does become popular. We're in the creation business, and that's what we are good at

You're talking about Entropia, not Second Life. But yes, Entropia is another virtual world that our company will most likely set up shop this year. But Entropia is more like a "World of Warcraft meets Star Trek" MMORPG, rather than a true, freeform world like SL.

But yes, SL has had it's share of real world rags-to-millions stories. Find the keywords "anshe" and "chung" in Google, to understand what I mean

Oh very much. The first 10,000 PHP (yes, real money) that I earned in Second Life, when I was still back in Iligan, was because someone was kind enough to give me land space for free, and I set up my shop there...and what else but, a GUN SHOP.
