best dog breed? is there really such a thing?

for me the finest dogs are those that are free , no cages no leash ... i have been around dogs for 3 quarters of my life i'm not an expert about them but spent a lot of years being around them, and i say the finest dogs are those that are not kept in cages or leashed, if u wanna enjoy a dog's company don't keep them caged or leashed and also most important YOU the owner MUST take care of your dog, you feed, bath, and take your dog out for walks...

some wise guy wrote this and i find this very true..." your money might buy you a very nice dog, but it wont buy you the wag of his tail. ... 3 quarters is like 30 years as i am already 40.

yes it's true but it doesn't apply to every breed with regards to situation and circumstances..

awwww... i miss my kitchie na hinuon.. kaulion na ko! yah, lahi ra jud kung wala gi-cage. importante lang na you train your dogs properly pud. whatever your dog does, it's the owner's responsibility.

i don't know any other breed by heart except my dachshund. she can be stubborn at times, being a hound and all. BUT, she's very very very lambing. she would never sleep unless you sleep pud. and she has to sleep with me, otherwise muhilak. when i count, she would run to me and lie down, waiting for her kisses and belly rubs.

but is that a qualification for being a "best breed"? i dunno. it's up to human's preference ra gihapon. some doesn't even like lambing dogs, esp when they lick. and though naay simiarilites ang dogs of the same breed, the owner has a big role in making them who you want them to be.

my thoughts exactly!! :mrgreen: when u get a pup, u get an empty slate where u can fill it up with whatever traits u want ur pup to have. mura na ug baby na if panggaun, theyd be capable of loving pod and if abused wud hate u the rest of their lives except dogs are not capable of hate..theyd just cower in fear instead..

advice to everyone: love ur dogs while they're still here..appreciate them and dont let a day pass without telling them u love them or else ul regret it when they are no longer there beside you
