I like open ended endings. FFVIII's ending really didn't impress me much.
And I'm getting really tired of that "eyes on me" song, played almost anywhere on their celphones.

On endings though, it might not be FF, But I really liked Kingdom Hearts' ending.

Oh yeah, I'd like to add, Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the best FF, albeit the rough translation though. Currently though, I'm playing FF tactics advance, I'll let you guys know if its any good, but I think It's great already.

But I think FFVIII was the first one to have mass market appeal and opened FF to the general public, how does FF tactics advance compare to Tactics Ogre? FFXI is only online I think

I think FFXI will be very different from the previous FF series. It's MMORPG ... meaning online ra sya ... murag Ragnarok na style ... but obviously with a different gameplay. Characters will be stored on the server instead of individual machines. I don't know how this will affect players in the PH who do not have broadband. I imagine quite a few will get broadband just to play FFXI. I also have a feeling that FFXI will be released on the PC before it's released on the PS2. The specs required are pretty steep. You can already download a benchmark program to gauge your PC's performance with FFXI. Check out:

van, FFT:Advance is here in Cebu? Where'd ya get it? I was looking for that weeks ago.

FFXI, from what i've read will be just like all the other MMO's out ther but with a Final Fantasy coating. Same whack rabbits/monsters til ya level up. The interesting about it is that both PC and PS2 versions of the game can play on the same servers.

Vern, I was wondering if FFXI online will work on Ph? even though ang connectuion kay DSL? I've seen some of my friends play Everquest they say it's fine as long as you have a credit card.

The thing I liked about FFXI is from what I hear is the job cycle system similar to FFT and FFV, so beat that you greedy healing acolyte against my Fighter/heal type character!

Chronnus, there's one in Toy kingdom, mahal lang mga 1,000, but still it's worth it! My SP is working round the clock.

@vanceloma ... I'm positive you'll be able to play FFXI in the Philippines. Method of payment will be a major problem ... but isn't very hard for anyone with a bank account. Any major credit card will work as well as debit cards. The only problem I see is with internet connections. People are going to be spending a lot of money just to be online playing FFXI.
