so far the Corsair H80i has been the most effective.. It can handle temps quite well even for a 4.6ghz 2.4V Core I7-3770K

Your comparing a 2,900 Closed loop cooler to a Big-ass Dual Tower 140mm fan 120mm fan that costs 3,750.. lets just say once you go NH-D14.. you just cant go back.. Silence in the D14 is incomparable.. performance of a NH-D14 is like the H100 or the H80i.. but a lot more quiter..
