780 or r9 280x? atay, gamay ra baya ang diperensya sa presyo, atay, hahahahaha
^ sa duha, between GTX 780 & R9 280x, grab the GTX 780... if R9 290 & GTX 780 ang choices... then, pilia ang swak sa budget sa anang duha... hehehehe... if R9 290x and GTX 780... grab the R9 290x...
between the GTX Titan and R9 290x... aw, no brainer for a gamer... grab the R9 290x due to the price difference... dako kaayo'g price difference but performanec wise, give & take na sila...

I doubt mu-ubos ang price sa 290x pag gawas sa 780 Ti. The 780 Ti is targeted at $699. Not even a 10% performance increase will make the 780 Ti as a threat sa 290x given it's 22% more expensive.
right now, my heart was stolen my AMD's R9 290x... it displaced the HD 7990 malta... hehehe...
i'm just a fan of the Titan... it didnot capture my heart due to its "monster price"... toinks...

dali ra ang work around ana bro... maka palit man gani ug 290/290x... so, maka afford gyud ug Open LCS... hehehe... ok ra nang 95 Deg C oi... w/in the operating temp pa mana sya sa Silicon (die inside)... need gyud na ug Open LCS... kay ang mamalit ani, maka afford man lagi ug Open LCS... but sa noise level... kun pariha na sa akoang previous dual HD 4870X2... lami pa ligsan ug pison... hahahaha...

@dlareG
ehehhe.. base ni linus.. kana nga temp is gi-design jd ang r9 290x pra ana pra mas optimize ang GPU, ..
don't worry about longevity sa VC.. ^_^
@Sempron Guy about sa 780ti .. base on forum and leaked.. kana nga VC is mas paspas pa sa titan..
and we all know nga ang titan mahal jd na nga VC.. so kong paspas pa xa sa titan meaning paspas pd xa ug price..
. . . directly proportional jd ang effect ana ..
gtx 780ti based on forum is the titan killer.. nway sa AMD side, mao na gi-ingon what money can get.. ang ila sa pagkakaron
ur money is worth for the price ug ang VC .. if naa lang ko budget largo jd ko palit ug r9-290x ..
sa pagkakaron dli pa kaau na-establish ang MANTLE .. sooner or later mas ma-feel na jd na nato . .
P.S ang PS4 ug XBOX 1 runs ATI graphics same as 7000 series with MANTLE .. base sa mga forum..
but for sure and 100% AMD jd ang sud sa mga consoles ..
sa linus pud ko nakadungog nga even though in ana ang gi ingon sa manufacturer, heat will still be a very big part of the lifespan sa VC, haha, @lloyd_joy bitaw, OPEN LCS jud, sus miyo, mao ni ang problemahan ron kay mu abot na ang pinaka aabot na xmas bonus, hahahah
^ hahahaha... gi timing na nila'g pasko... hehehehe... nag hisgot ta'g noise level... saba ang dual HD 7770 GHz Ed nko diri once mo mata na ang 2nd card then mag full load sila... pero, saba man ang games... dili ra ma notice nato ang noise nya kay buto2x man inig games... then if dili mag games, mag sleep mode man ang isa so, ok ra ang noise level nya... pero, saba lang gihapon... hhehehe...
@dlareG sakto ka.. HEAT will destroy all the parts "IN SHORT sentence huh. .."
mao na ang mga manufacturer's design jd cla ug mga cooling system .. nway in short na pd
TANAN butang MAGUBA .. hehehehe
-- -- - - >
a CPUs heat is directly related to it's clock speed; the higher the clock speed, the more power used and subsequently, more heat. Without adequate cooling, today's CPUs can very easily reach well over 150 degrees Celsius, if there weren't systems in place to prevent it. These systems include a clock speed limiter. When the CPU gets above temperature, the CPU management (BIOS - CMOS system) slows it down. This results in a complex system that gives performance increases with a cooler system, and performance slow down in a hot system.
While performance is a big aspect to look at in hot systems, so is the ongoing toll on the hardware. Consistently hot systems aren't expected to last anywhere near as long a cooler systems. Thermal fatigue in silicon results in cracks in transistors, and transistor mounting failures, in particular. Of course, just one transistor failure on a complex system such as a motherboard or graphics card can result in the entire system failing. And a replacement board being an appropriate fix.
