Actually, the touch ID is not really a necessity. Although it's very convenient and I really enjoy using it with my 5S, it's not something that the device won't function without. I'd say it's just a bonus and adds a bit of exclusivity.
I think Apple made a decision to make it exclusive for the 5S for whatever reason. I'm actually looking at the iPad Mini 2. Rumor has it that it may be the next 5S in terms of rarity. Apparently, Apple is producing much smaller iPad Mini 2 supplies as compared to the iPad Air.
Mao bah. Pero gamit man cya bai. For security without having to input your password again and again like mag DL sa AppStore. I think pwede pd nimu cya maintegrate into some sites like istorya for automatic input sa imu username and password.
I use a fingerprint print feature sa ako laptop, so when I go to my favorite sites and I need to log on, I just have to use the fingerprint feature. Di nako kailangan mag input napud. Not sure though if pwede ni sa touch ID.
In the context of phones or tablets mas gamit cya kay wla bya keyboard nya mas gmay screen so mas lisud mag type. Hehehe. Depende ra pd Siguro sa mu gamit bai.
Clearly, gamit gyud ang Touch ID. It's just that it's not a necessity. It's a luxury for now. Of course, the phone works flawlessly using a PIN or PASSWORD only. Gamit ang Touch ID in a way nga convenient kaayo ang pag unlock. I can unlock my 5S in less than a second without lifting my thumb and I like that.
Mahal gyud ang mga iDevices. Di na gyud na mu barato.
