    i find it amusing when my brother asked me unsa inenglish sa "dukot" is there an english equivalent for this word, mao daw ni asked sa iya during his interview for abroad ambot kung tinuod.

    [color=navy]^^The closest English word I could come up with for "dukot" is "cooked rice rind" where "rind" is defined as a thick and firm outer coat or covering, as of certain fruits, cheeses, and meats: watermelon rind; orange rind; bacon rind.

    But for simplicity's sake, one could use "burnt rice" or "overcooked rice" or "crunchy rice" to describe "dukot"

    when i was in fourth year high school sa probinsya, lisod gyud ang tibuok klase og english. ang gibuhat sa amo english teacher kay madre man to from the states, start mi sa basic subject and verb agreement . pagkahuman tenses na dayon sunod kay active and passive voice sunod pa gyud, complex sentences. wala mi atong unsa na noun, unsa na pronoun, adjective, adverb, etc. yaw-yaw gyud tibuok klase kay pwerte ka stricta madreha oi. hapit kadaadlaw, naa composition nya basahon raba gyud niya with corrections na inig uli nya rewrite na sad. sige lang gyud rewrite and rewrite. Hinuon, pasalamat sad ko. Nahimo kung supervisor sa call center tungod niya. Karon resign na kay pwerte gyud kapoya. Ako lang ma advise, basta start lang sa basics gyud. Read more books sad.
