HURRICANE KATRINA DESTROYS NEW ORLEANS DAYS BEFORE SOUTHERN DECADENCE

Philadelphia - Just days before Southern Decadence - an annual homosexual
celebration attracting tens of thousands of people to the French Quarters
section of New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina destroys the city.

Southern Decadence - has a history of filling the French Quarters section
with drunken homosexuals engaging in *** acts in the public streets and
bars. Last year, a local pastor sent video footage of *** acts being
performed in front of the police to the Mayor, Vice Mayor, City Council
and the media. City officals simply ignored the footage and continued to
welcome and praise the weeklong celebration as being an "exciting event".
However Hurricane Katrina has put an end to the annual celebration of sin.

On the official Southern Decadence website( www.southerndecadence.com ).
It states that the annual event brought in 125,000 revelers to New Orleans
last year up from over 50,000 revelers in 1997. This year's 34th annual
Southern Decadence was set for Wednesday, August 31, 2005 through
Monday, September 5, 2005, but due to massive flooding and the damage left
by the hurricane, Lousiana Governor Kathleen blanco has ordered everyone
    to evacuate the city.

The past three mayors of New Orleans, including Sidney Barthelomew, Marc
Morial, and Ray Nagin, issued official proclamations welcoming visitors to
Southern Decadence. Additionally New Orleans city council made other
proclamations recognizing the annual homosexual celebration.

Athough the loss of lives is deeply saddening , this act of God destroyed
a wicked city. Stated Repent America director Michael Marcavage. From
Girls Gone Wild to Southern Decadence; New Orleans was a city that had
it's doors wide open to the public celebration of sin. From the
devastation, may a city full of righteousness emerge, he continued.

New Orleans was also known for it's Mardi Gras parties where thousands of
drunken men would revel in the streets to exchange plastic jewelry for
drunken women to expose their breasts and to engage in other *** acts.
This annual event sparked the creation of the Girls Gone Wild video
series. Furthermore, Louisiana had a total of ten abortion clinics.
Additionally, New Orleans has always been known as one of the Murder
Capitals of the World with a rate ten times the national average.

We must help and pray for those ravaged by this disaster, but let us not
forget that the citizens of New Orleans tolerated and welcomed the
wickedness in their city for so long. May this act of God cause us to
think about what we tolerate in our city limits, and bring us trembling
before the throne of Almighty God. Marcavage added.

"God sendeth rain on the just and the unjust". (Matthew 5:45)

Nah, I don't believe God can do that kind of stuff you said. God is not harsh toward his people. It's not God's will to suffer the innocence and let them die because of the flood. It's a natural calamity, a force from nature that knows no good or evil ...

sometimes, God allow things to happen so these people will come back to the reality that he exists and we are merely his creations...

I disagree. I believe that His a very loving God. He cannot do such things to his people. When Hitler gassed all those innocence way back Nazi time...it's not God's will to let all those children and women died...it's the person's will to do bad things to his fellow. God is not a mean being. He won't allow his people to suffer. What happened to the cities which have been devastated by the hurricanes is not God's well or revenge or way of teaching His people that they sinned. He got no power over natural calamities like hurricane or typhoon, since He has already given that responsibility to men to stop or minimize tha damage that it may cause... to men.

Yes I agree bout you... God is a very loving GOd. But God wants us to believe us. Not only believing us but to have faith also. Maintaining our faith. There is possible also that god will do the destruction like what happen to the past according to the biblical way... God wants people to realize us... the crimes, corrupt politics, etc.... We forget sometimes because we take more pleasures to our self than doing spiritual thing...

Calamities and Natural disasters are not God's will...Diseases, accidents, and tragedies are not even His. It's too bad men tend to blame God for all their misfortunes when it fact it's just how life is...what life is...When we got no one to blame it gives us some satisfaction that their's somebody that should be responsible when in fact there is not. Blame the situation not anybody else...
