TS can always upgrade his vc. The monitor can still survive after 2-3 upgrade cycles.

setting that aside, would be good to know if the TS gpu could support 3 monitors, or is the TS gpu be good enough for the 27" monitor...would it be better he could invest first on a better gpu rather than investing first on expensive monitors? well its just my own opinion. But if his gpu is already better then there would be an easy recommendation from experts (not me)

Para nako, its not wise to "invest" in a GPU (especially the very high end ones) cos those things drop in price very fast. In 6 months time, naa nay new model and in a years time almost obsolete na ang gpu.

It would be of help though if TS posted his specs and also the types of games/apps he uses.

Pero based lang sa iyang gi ingon nga casual gamer ra sya , If the 27" is within his budget vs. 2 ka 23" monitors, better gyud ang 27". Of course we are assuming nga since he's contemplating the two options, kaya ning duha ka setup sa vc sa ts.

i totally agree on what you have said, but regarding on he high end ones, the price didnt drop that drastically and the satisfaction to have one is beyond payable if you know what i mean hehehe well im saying this cause i own 2 titans. Back to the topic, as what you have pointed out 27" would be a better choice

para sa akoa dako ra kaayo ang 27"... sakit sa mata... dili ko maka dugay ug duwa... hapdos... distance nko from the 27" kay 2.5 to 3 feet (mag adjust ko)... mas nindot gyud ang 23" ~ 24" monitors... para sa akoa, mao ni ang swak... planned to change my single 27" to either 3 x 23 " or 3 x 24 "... kun akoang dayonon ang plan na mag monitor change...

this is my experience on the 27" though... basin, hiyang ang uban ani nya pud. nindot lang gyud sya during gaming kay dako man lagi but, dili ko maka dugay ug duwa... mas mo lahutay pa ko'g gamit sa akoang 20" compared sa akoang 27" during gaming...

Hehe. I guess it really depends on the user. For me ang monitor nako (dell 24" 1920x1200) was the best bang for buck purchase cos ive been using it since 2005 and around 3x na ko nag upgrade sa uban components.

Anyway, TS is a casual gamer so I think the monitor would serve him well.
