globelines broadband (384 kbps) is 2 yrs contract. 1st year is P995.00 /month and the 2nd yr is P1,495.00 /month. anyone can verify this?

PLDT DSL (256kbps) = P 999.00
Globelines Broadband (384 kbps) = P 995.00
Smart WiFi (Meridian) (128 kbps) = P 788.00

Which do you think I should get?

if mao ni prices, y not get globe nalang? cheaper nya faster pa... ??

bai as my experience with PLDT grabe ka bati. ila tech support walay klaro. nya hapit ko everyday mag cge ka disconnect. I don't know kung unsa ila reason. ila pa gi blame ako pc. nya pag tranfer nako sa GLOBE ok ra man lagi ako connection! wla problem!

if naa ka existing fone line, use their DSL package, if not smart wifi is another option...

Im on 3K a month plan on MyDSL for about 2 years now.. I think right now 1 MBps na ni cya i cant keep track of the automatic account upgrades done by PLDT anymore. Im very satisfied with PLDT. Im just fortunate i did not have any problems with it and the tech support..

I have started my application (over the phone) with Globe last weekend, and they'll be installing the modem tomorrow.. an ethernet modem (not the usb one).

I would like to give special thanks to Poor_Prince23, edge827, pidz111 for their insights.

Hopefully, I'll get back on this thread after the installation.. using the new Globe connection.

globe is aok..imho get d dsl modems thru ethernet/lan connection rader dan dose usb connected modems...lan connected modems are "always connected" and doesnt require logons...

btw d tech support of globe are a bunch of idiots(probably located n manila)..i had an experience once...dey dont even know d installation procedures of installing der dsl modems or dey are pretending 2 know it...y do dey col demselves tech support n d 1st place...
