it doesnt follow that youre for senate abolition you have no place in the senate.
the abolition of the Senate must come from a law in this case, the charter change. and it will be the legislative department in which the senate is part of that will make the law.
Miriam Santiago is a senator yet she is for the abolition of the Senate. im not sure about it though.

OT: i might post off-topic but if we say that he wants to support cha-cha just to abolish senate, then he ran for senator, then i would also say the congressman from bukidnon as TRAPO. This is the reason why I did not voted him. Not just him, but also Pichay, Defensor, those who supported the abolition of Senate. Klaro man wa gihapon baruganan si Zubiri ani. i prefer Migz to be in the top 12 than Koko who has nothing except his family name and being a bar top notcher.

Even his own constituents wouldn't let Koko Pimentel win as mayor in his own hometown. Maybe this is the reason why he would want to exclude the votes in Maguindanao because he doesn't stand a chance of winning there. Yes, even special elections should not take place.

He just drags his family name. Of course, endorser Angel Locsin really increased the number of his votes. But if we look at it, we're seeing a father-son tandem at the Senate who will promote their own interests. I don't think he deserves the 12th seat at the Congress. I'd like to think Miguel Zubiri can take it. He has authored important bills which include the bio- fuels act. He should continue his work at the Senate.
