Well, those who give money seem to think nga it will rid them of their sins or give them a better afterlife... so its an investment in their mind.

I too believe that the Church/religions would take first place mainly because there is no check and balance on what happens to the money donated. Next thing we know is that Pajero na gipang drive sa mga Pari na pwede ra unta simple na pick-up.

Yes, a lot of government officials are corrupt even in the BIR but at least na a check and balance system.
It's only a matter of enforcing what is already there.

Pasencya na sa religions but I would prefer na mo disclose pud mo sa inyong collections and donate a big portion to help those in poverty.

naa man pud uban nga mga pari nga nag buhat ug puy-anan sa mga yagit. pero kaning politics or government wala jud ni sila au... kung ako lang dli jud ko proud nga maka trabaho ko ug government. or kung maka trabaho man gani ko sa government... malipay rako kay naa ko sweldo.. pero kana ipang hambog jud... sus ayaw nlang. wala jud pulos kung under sa government.

not business but the most powerful entity, sa u.s ang hari digto mga banko or corpo coz sila ang gagunit sa economy, like work etc

@title, i thought religion is the biggest business in this "God fearing" country. ang naka-arang arang lang aning religion kay miyembro ra kutob.. pero sa politics, maangil ang mga taw nga wala motoo nila.

Ang kang pagkatax-free nila kay assumption nga dili finite (o way klarong amount) ang donation pero nahimong gahaman ang ubang man of church kuno.

Misan tag 20 ang donation pero since naay mga donors nga gatoo for charity mapunta ilang money gipadak-an nila pero ang ginabuhat sa ubang kay gipabit ung mahalong SUV. I know makatabang ng awto sa pag-commute niya reasonable sad kung sakto ang presyo sa pagpalit pera naa juy mga korakot sa simbahan using the church's as its facade. There are good priest but the bad ones are always sensationalized.
