Sis, when I was pregnant (although not twins) I was worried about the fees kay I was told ahead nga there might be something wrong with my pregnancy kay the heart rate of my child was very low. I suggest you go to Maternity/Cupsi. Near southern island. They are a BIRTHING place gyud. I paid for a caesarian section for around 45k to 50k. Its still cheap compared to other private hospitals who can go as high as 70k to100k.

Mother of 3 kids, so I know the difference.

my ob assured me that my babies were already okay right after my recent ultrasound - i just need to reach 20th of this month para their full term.... mao lang lage need SARILING SIKAP - she can't help me out during delivery since their twins unlike my first baby - she can inject medicine to make contraction faster but according to her I CAN MAKE IT since their always contracting in fact im almost 3mos in bedrest & about a week taking medicine for relaxation / minimize contraction... Their both small so hopefully i can deliver them right away - TWIN A is 4lbs & TWIN B is 5.5lbs.... I take the risk nalang since those mentioned birthing hospital were too far from our residence it would take 1 to 2 hrs to travel there..... thanks much....

    Hi sis,

How's your babies' u/s man? They seem to be ok in weight alone. Twins usually are small man gyud, since restricted ila growth kay duha sila in your uterus. You are SO Lucky kay cephalic sila duha so dako gyud chances nga ma normal delivery sila. Pero, we will never know ang dagan sa labor and delivery nimo. It is safer to deliver them in a tertiary hospital kay "in case" lang na they need additional care and most especially sad ang needs nimo while nag labor ka.

Ako before gani kay I wanted to give birth to a birthing home, but as time passed man gud, my instinct is telling me otherwise. So I was referred to give birth sa tertiary hospital since my pregnancy was complicated man sad (measles infection sa 1st trimester). Although my baby was small and cephalic, I ended up C/S.

Mas maayo man gyud nga unahon nato safety sa ato babies, plus! ato-a sad safety then after that, we will consider the financial side.

hi everyone, thanks to all your replies.... it really helps... by the way i already gave birth to my twins last Tuesday, June 18 thru normal delivery in eversely as per my OB's commitment that we will be okay... Praise GOD she's right & confirmed by my pedia - my twins were very okay (twin 1 - 4.10 lbs @ 6:10 P.M. & twin 2 - 5.10 lbS @ 6:41 P.M.) I went home last June 20, I'm currently struggling on nursing the two... hehehe... so far so good - as usual sleepless nights...
