i downloaded the software http://users.net.yu/~dejan/ and followed the instructions:

1. Connect DKU-5 or normal COM cable to computer
2. Set proper COM cable (must be, between 1 and 9)
3. run `install.bat`
4. Open file (using notepad) c:/bb5_unlocker/logs/bb5_unlocker.cfg and write here proper COM port (1-9) <mine was com5>
5. Run c:/bb5 unlocker/BB5logunlocker.exe
6. Click READ PHONE
7. Click MAKE LOG, log will be created
8. After log Created Successfully U Must Click at BB5_calc
9. Enter codes to phone (in /psw/ dir), or
10. Click SP UNLOCK to enter codes via FBUS

And i successfully unlocked my N70 just now.

@baboy, yesterday when i had my mother's phone fixed at a cellshop in colon they were asking 1.2k to unlock my N70. then gipahangyo pa ko ug 700. i told them that forkboy in istorya.net has even offered to unlock bb5 phones for free kay free ra man ang software. buy ka na lang dku5 cable and open it yourself. i think markyap is selling the cables at gizmo-emall.

Ask unta ko ba na unlock na nako ako vodafone na 6630 ok na xa pero naa problema dili ko pwede maka install og mga .sis kay mangayo xa og security and dli sd ko ka play og mga wav files kay dli xa supported. unsa.0n man ni nako ?

bai help me pls.... nana ko bb5 na software but the prob is.... i have DKU5 na cable and the software needs a com2 port dba?... so i brougth from CDR-King a COM2 - USB na converter since the dku5 is a usb... ang set up nko,..... mau na.... help me guyz out.. phone nko kay 6630 from japan....
