Minimum of 1 - 1.5grams of protein x your body weight
So if you weigh 150lbs you need to consume a minimum of 150 - 225grams of protein a day
Whey before you train as it is quickly absorbed into the muscle and then casein after the training. Take a mixture or casein before you sleep. Three good protein shakes a day will give you at least 70-90 gms of protein, the rest you should be able to make up from your regular diet
And don't forget, drink at least a gallon of water every day!!!
