Hmm, china hasn't proved itself yet in previous great wars... So this would test their capacity to wage war...

In WW2, they were almost ran-over by japan if not for the backing of the Allied Forces.

But tides had changed... Hehehe, when this tension escalates, let us be better prepared, kay maapil jud ta bsan unsaon ug kwenta... Problema, wala na raba tay ROTC ron... ahahahahaha.. unsaon, guna ug silhig naman ang (NSTP) ipatrabaho sa atong mga estudyante ron...

Hehehehehehehe.. Just my 2 cents though...

kung makig gubat jud ang China sa Japan, they will have the fight of their lives. gamay ra tuod ang Japan pero ila soldiers, warriors jud na. they are willing and happy to die for their country, that's their kamikaze spirit. sa world war 2 especially in the battle of midway, daghan kaau sila napa lubog nga barko sa allied forces kay kung maigo na gani ang mga japanse pilots ila na i crash dive ila plane sa ila kontra nga barko. planes are most accurate bombs, by the way as proven in 911.

mura guro ni 300 spartans against hundred thousand persians.

China should also know that they are
in contention with sovereign countries within the contested
vicinity, it will not be favorable to gather broken pieces instead
    of sharing piece by piece.

ROTC is still available, although not mandatory, but voluntary. A good example is USJ-R's ROTC unit.
