Swerte ka bro, kay nakakuha ka ug RED nga 2 platter (1TB/platter).... kay daghan sab ang nakakuha ug 3 platter (667/750 per platter) which is hinay ang transfer rate. Ang nakalisod pa kay, pareho ra ang ilang model no., walay kalainan.... WD20EFRX-68AX9N0.
Pero naay tip para pagpalit ninyo sa disk makapili mo sa 2 platter model.... pagdala mo ug timbangan kay ang 3 platter is 1.40 lbs...... ang 2 platter 1.32 lbs lang....hehehe

@boyett - ahhh! that's probably why! I didn't realize nga naka release sila og different configurations sa ilang drives. But I think the latest drives Red drives are 2TB/platter. I'll try ask to my friend about that. Thanks for information

akoa man gud gi add sa stock investment... palit ko ug Ayala Corporation ug Globe last week... akoang gi pun-an akong stock shares... hehehe... mura'g hinay2x lang sa ko aning PC DIY passion nato kay dili na maayo akoang gi buhat. bisan "nice to have" lang, dili need nako, akoa man gipamalit... hehehe... for 2013, focus lang sa ko balik sa stock investment... pero, sige ra ko basa2x diri diri sa thread... pero, basin mo palit ko'g 1x 2TB WD RE4... hapit na mapuno ang 1TB nko man diri... dili lang sa ko mag RAID... atots, palit lang gihapon diay... hehehe... hhhaaayyyy... kani gyud passion nato, maka katol sa kamot... hehehe

^ bro,
basin pareho lang ni sila sa uban HDDs, kun naa'y chassis fan na naka tutok sa HDD, the running operatiing temp would be between 24 ~ 28Deg C... just a guess though... this is based on my experience on the HDDs w/ fans... both from WD, Samsung and Seagate...
