Just saw Episode 3 . I really like the ending and it had to finish that way though . She could become a whistle-blower and apparently that's how they resolved their dilemma . It was a cliche on the mother's murder - drug overdose as their cover . A stereotypical murder cover by secret agencies .

I just don't get that they have to give the baby to the slained KGB's parents . Maybe it would be too disturbing to show that they've also killed the baby . If I were the writer I would have the baby killed wrapped in a newspaper placed on a full garbage bin or dropped the baby off in an adoption centre or shelter . Hey , if they really want to portray KGBs as ruthless on this episode , they should've done it full-out .

Sh** just got intense. President got shot. The US Gov't looking for Soviet connections on the assassination. Asset in the brink of getting killed. All while real romance is sparking between Philip and Elizabeth. Granny's in control. Shooting of a neighborhood security officer in cold blood. And the mysterious role of a new character, the journalist.

US was really eager to go to war. It's like they're just waiting for the KGB to make the wrong move so they can go "all in" at war.
