series 40 is NOT symbian! its based on nokia OS.
only series 60, 80 and 90 are based on symbian OS (for nokia) and UIQ for s.e.!
hmmm, come to think of it, nokia has a UIQ version pala thats also symbian OS based hehehe

samsung is also releasing a new model with series 60 3rd edition FP1 interface with symbian OS vesion 9.2 (or was that 9.1?) hehehe
anways series 40, 60, 80 and UIQ is just the interface and are based on different OS...even different OS versions
