Harry potter is fictional story... its not meant to change your belief or religion. It's meant to entertain people... itsOriginally Posted by s.n.m.p.

because what they are in the movies...
Definitely, Harry Potter movie is made solely for entertainment. But sometimes this kind of movie will drawn human's mind to disbelief. Just like what happen to the movie "Passion of Christ", many accused that this movie is anti-semitic and turning the story of the gentle Jesus into a bloody violence.
That article is a mere expose on the truth about the Eucharist and the hyperdulia of the RCC.
I'm sure the authors and makers of the page have the best intentions.
Not all "catholic" websites are truly Catholic. If you want to check on the orthodoxy of a site try looking it up at www.catholicculture.org (formerly PetersNet). They have a rating system for such sites. The exact URL for the site reviews is:
http://www.catholicculture.org/sites/sites.cfm
You can check the listings and find a review of some "catholic" sites. if it's not there, you can submit the site for review.
If the RCC is as "Evangelized" as they claim to be then no need to panic.LET ALL CATHOLICS ON THIS BOARD BE WARNED!
The webpage "http://onemediator.4t.com/whats_new.html" provided by Cardinal Bunal and the entire website containing that page is all anti-Catholic propaganda.
Personally, I suspect that this "Bro. Frederico Lasala, SVD" is a fictional character invented to discredit the Societas Verbi Divini, in particular, and the Catholic Church, in general.
Shalom.
You made it sound as if the RCC has a lot to hide![]()
How paranoid of you. I read that page and all I see is desperation-- does the author have to resort to either inventing a character or use the identity of another? Bashing ain't enough? If the author (or authors) is so convinced of the certainty of his or her "truths" and the "falsehood" of the Catholic Church, why resort to such a cheap shot? Why, even promoters of that website had to disguise themselves to do the plugging.Originally Posted by MrBiddle

Disguise or NOT the article is excerpted from a book so the author of the said book can take all the credit.

There is desperation to let people know the whole Truth of a deception that has passed itself off in perfect camouflage for 2000 years already. A power NOT human at all.
And why won't people like Dacs give Anthony Pezzota any credit at all? I thought he was one of those who can "trace his line of succession from the apostles" ;-b
Ever heard of the word 'communion'? Only bishops in full communion of the Catholic Church is to be trusted with their teachings. What ever claim Pezzota has with the Catholic Church is severed once he is out of her fold. Only the Church Magisterium has the teaching authority to bind Christians. It should be noted, though, that there never was a proof presented as to the validity of the claim that Bro. Frederico Lasala is - in reality - a SVD brother (i.e., not a priest as erroneously claimed by someone) and it was the same person who wrote the article.
How hard can it be to claim that an article is written by someone who is claimed to be something yet never presenting verifiable credentials? How hard can it be to redirect an honest inquiry into somebody's identity by resorting to disconnected questioning on the inquirer? Unfortunate but ...
