ofcourse it's dangerous. i won't even buy/use one.
but ban it? i don't think the government is worthy to enact that because it still can't provide proper means of transportation to everyone.

really, if they see an accident riding this then ban it, why should they allow it in the highways and roads, if it is really that dangerous?

afaik according to hiway code public tricycle are ban on plying national hiway... however LGU can over rule it by local ordinance...

as to private vehicle you cant ban it is private... thats why private motorist are always reminded to take safety precautions when plying busy hiways... if they will ban it from plying to hiways they should atleast give an alternate route...

to all: it is every easy to say "implement it" if we are not in the shoes of the enforcing agency/person
