THE Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) E-card system that created problems among its pensioners has put us in a very difficult situation now.

Since the implementation of the E-card system, many of us have been deprived of our monthly pensions from January up to the present.

There are even a number of us who have not received their December 2006 bonus.

It looks like GSIS is bent on killing pensioners through slow death by suspending our pensions and other benefits in the guise of computerization.

It has become apparent that GSIS has already lost its credibility as a government owned and controlled corporation.

It has lost its compassion and concern for the welfare of the pensioners.

I appeal to GSIS president Winston Garcia to facilitate the release of our long-delayed pensions.
