We are not questioning the 'Hope' thing here coz naa man jud nang Hope, samtang buhi pa, naa man jud possiblity.
But, what im trying to ask is that base sa ato situation sa ato country karon ug base sa trend sa ato progress sukad sa una, Or based sa reality karon bah, posibly pa bah nga madato tah?
You said, good quality education. Question is - Unsa nman ato education karon? duna ba indication nag ni improve?
You said about changing mind set, Sukad sa una hangtod karon, naa bay chance mausab ang batasan natong mga pinoy? labi na ang mga bati nato nga mga batasan?
You also said, descipline. Sa ato situation karon, duna pa bay posibility nga ma desiplina tang mga pinoy? di kaha nag ka dugay nagka way desiplina ang pinoy?
If ang answer ana tanan is Negative, I dont think naa pa tah chance madato ato country.
as what i have said it start from ourselves, sometimes, we comment on what we see, but we dont ask ourselves if i am part of the solution of the problem, or i am the partaker of the problemOriginally Posted by pinoytayo
We'll actually be a very rich and industrialized country by now if the billions of money coming in to this country thru remittances and tax collection are put into good use. Sad to say, it's obviously not happening.
Politics in the Philippines will continue to be affected by the colonial mentality of its people especially its leaders. Colonial mentality will always be there and religiously paying your taxes or making intellectual contributions will just be an exercise of futility.
My answer to this is NO. at least not in the near future.
Do you think Philippines can still become rich/Industrialized?
YES!!
If you compare ang Pinas sa first world country, Toinks Jud layo kaau.

5. Be Christian ...
Mas maaU lets make a changed start from our selves naa jud porohan ato anak mo follow sad. Maski hinay2 lngud atlest naa ta agi ba..

Of Course! given no timeline, every single nation has a chance to prosper. Historically, Iraq was the cradle of civilization. Look at them now.
Though we have a very long way to go as a nation, as Filipinos, we can, and we will. It may take a century or several millennia, (don't worry, our Sun still has 5 billion years or so of Hydrogen supply to continously radiate peacefully!)
Let us just remember, what we are today is the product of our past's past, the future of our future lies on us. my three cents!
Yes of course. Japan made it within 50 years (remember Japan just came out of war on 1946), South Korea made within 30 years (Korea also had the korean war).... there is no reason why we cannot do it within our lifetime. We have much more natural resources than Japan... The only thing that is hindering us from excelling are the intangible barriers such as our: values, discipline and love of country. The barriers of the future are the barriers of the mind....in the end its all going to be mindset.
Well goodluck hehe. Tell those millions of the Filipinos out there heheOriginally Posted by *dudes*

if we base it on the trend and the current running we have, well obviously, philippines will never change.Originally Posted by SioDenz
based on your queries, so sad but true, the answers might all be negative. what i provided was answers that somewhat might help. we need actions for change, not just criticize
