as per the reviews,Â* it was shot in China. Cesar Montano has three speaking parts and gets to fire some, too, and that's it. There is reason to believe that historically, the movie is accurate, having been based on two non-fiction books: William B. Breuer's "The Great Raid on Cabanatuan: Rescuing the Doomed Ghosts of Bataan and Corregidor" and Hampton Sides' "Ghost Soldiers." Now on to the good: although it was shot in China, the set pieces do look like they are from the Philippines, from the huts to hats and the plain landscape of the North. There is more than one Filipino actor in it; Rex Cortez, Joel Trinidad and Ryan Eigenmann are some of those who have bit roles.
