since ang purpose sa imong build DILI pang gaming...go for NVIDIA Quadro videocards(After Effects/CS4/CS6 Certified)...nay daghan didto sa TPC...ayaw anang mga videocards para duwa...

    get a good psu(Silverstone/Seasonic/Corsair/Enermax/Antec)...

akong case gamit for my home server is Coolermaster HAF-XM...very good airflow para 24hrs operation...

invest in a good backup system...

Therefore, focus on your video card, get PowerColor HD7950 = 10k ra sa NUTECH, and you can get one too at Cebu Appliance Center.

I highly recommend to replace your processor to an i5-3570k, since Z77 imong chipset sa motherboard. para ma fully use nmu ang features sa mobo.

And an 80+ rated 600W PSU will easily power your system.

p.s. OpenCL man gamit sa Adobe CS6, gamit ug CS6 boss, ayaw na CS4, kay para magamit nmu ang full power sa Radeon 7000 series.

Pero nndot sad jud ang Quadro Series, pero MAHAL kaau. Hahah

I don't think gpu is focus point for rendering its more on the cpu....just my insights though...

better yet ts just by a workstation computer...those are the computers dedicated for your purposes.

No need man guro mag quadro(considering it's very high price) pa cya since graphic design and illustration ra man ni di ba. Dili nya need ang precision(important in CAD 2D/3D Modeling) w/c is advantage sa Quadro or Firepro Series but speed iya need w/c is advantage sa gaming cards(considering also it's lower price)

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, Intel Core i7 3770 doesn't support ECC. Workstation processor does like Intel Xeon. Nya RAM na pud that supports ECC. Basta mahal ra jud if magset-up siyag pangworkstation.. Maayo ra guro na if more on industry-standard CAD 2D/3D Modeling iya buhaton and budget is not a constraint. Anyway, this is just according to my research.

    @zhieg - thanks boss!

@ferdz, keropi - thanks. Will consider 650ti. will research on HD 7950. thanks sa recommendation mga bossing!
Will think about RAID5. Still happy with RoboCopy

@simoko - Thanks sa recommendation boss! Never heard that there are graphic cards for Adobe products.

@senpai - pareha tag gi huna2x. not unless the application has the ability to also use the GPU for processing (like the OpenCL of Radeon cards). The problem with branded workstation or kana h0man daan is mahal and the option to change is none to limited.

@bleb - sure! just follow this thread. tinabangay lang ta research.hehe

@boyq - thanks sa input boss

ako nya e update akong list. research sa ko for PSU, GPU, and MoBo

Since luoy kaau iyang GPU of choice sa i7, mao gi balance out ang i5 ug HD7950. getting a Quadro or FirePro GPU is too too impractical for him, seeing that he even chose cheap parts like iMaster, CDR-King branded peripherals.

So if mag Quadro siya, hurot kwarta sa GPU alone.

OpenCL for Adobe CS6, naa sa settings para ma fully use nmu ang HD7950.
