Not that we're always alike. We do differ on things. Like how we handle situations. If there's a problem, I'm the type where I want to talk it out, fight it out, whatever to get it resolved one way or another or I can't feel right whereas he's much more laid back and would rather take the "sleep on it, you'll feel better in the morning" approach. And yeah we've clashed sometimes because of it. There are also some interests we just don't have in common. Like he's very into games and gaming and while I like it to an extent, I'm just not a gamer and not that into it. And I'm an avid reader, and would prefer a good book over most other mediums and he hardly ever reads unless he has to.
I would say I'm probably more mature than him as well (despite him being almost 9 years older than myself) and it's pretty noticable, but actually that's one of the differences that I like that we have. I like that he's more childish than me, it keeps me more grounded and he helps me relax when I'm taking myself too seriously and can't realize it myself.
I don't think I could ever be with a complete opposite. Not that I'm saying it doesn't work, as I'm sure it does for some people but I need common ground otherwise I just feel awkward and lost with someone.
