I saw the movie in Cagayan de Oro. Last show December 11, 2012.

I won't give the details but just some opinions and takes. There may be spoilers pero mostly something you haven't seen before in production stills and movie trailers.

Hands down jud ko sa mga Hapon sa fighting sequences ani. Takeru Sato did a wonderful job as Kenshin. Nindot ayu iya transition from tanga2x nga happy go lucky to serious bad ass Battosai.

I like how they made things more realistic to the history of Japan. Meaning if you're expecting Kaoru to shout and scream and start punching Kenshin, you're gonna be disappointed. Japanese women those days just didn't act that way.

Sanosuke was a surprise comic relief.

Yahiko/Yoshi was spot on, although under used iya character.

Nindot ra pud ang mash up sa story arcs into one movie. Maconnect siya. Although somehow, I feel na medyo unclear ang connections in some parts.

Costumes, hair and make up, grabe di mabangbang ang pagkafollow sa anime. Except I suppose kay Kaoru. I'm going to attribute that to the fact na ang mga babae sauna sa Japan don't normally wear their hair in a pony tail.

CGI of the blood spatters were realistic enough to make me cringe.

There were some parts that dragged and I thought could've been edited out. There were also some speeches which were too long (sa mga nakakita, you probably know what I mean) but overall, it was a great start for a movie franchise.

Yes, himuon na jud franchise. A sequel is under way na. WHEEEEEEE!

Last chance to watch today guys. Pero if you can wait 13 days more, it should be available in torrent around December 26, 2012, when the DVD / Blu Ray will be released.
