hmm prehas ra man ang pldt and globe ma putol then dugay ma balik....or kong serious ang problema u need to wait 1 - 2 for the technical visit... then if u are the lowest connection like 128..sos mas ma ayo pang mag dial up nalang pwerteng hinaya.... but i dont know in some area.. if they have a good connection there.. depende ra pod cguro nas area... as what i observe ha.. pldt and globe did not give to their subcribers a CIR( comitted internet rate)

ma o neh akong na bantayan lang... the set up is like this...

example lang ni guys ha.. im not saying in ana jud ang set up nila.. experment lang neh ako-a.. basin pod diay na-ay maka explain nato deri mas clear pa sa ako-a so that wud be an additional knowledge for us..

location/area: baranggay mabolo
speed: 1mbps or higher than this..

so in ani sya sa whole area sa mabolo nag butang sila og 1mbps then if na-ay mo subcribes..like 128 so tipakan na ang 1mb... then na-a napod mo kuha...tipakan napod.. so mura ba og imbodo....ang 1mbs gi tabangan og pila ka subcribers...as what we notice right now...barato na ka ayo ang dsl nila di bahh so we expect nga puno2x jud na ang ilang mga devices diha sa ilang mga subcribes... what if ma dungan og gamit? di bahh so diha maka bantay ta nga murag mo slower ang connection..... imagine ang 128 gud usahay ang speed niya mura nalang og 56k nga dial up pero deli pod na permamente... so ma o na diha atong i sulod ng CIR ( comitted internet rate) lets say u have 256 connection the u have the cir of 64kbps.. meaning ang imong connection is di gyud mo ubos sa 64kbps...that is what i understand lang ha.. unlike sa normal dsl karon... lets says u have the 128.. so if kon tino-od man gali ne akong expectation nga set up nila.. so if ma dungan na og gamit...from 128 mo down jud ka sa adto sa pina ka ubos....

so my suggestion is... kuha mo og dsl sa kanang gamay pa ang ni subcribes......

thats what i observe lang all my explanations is base on my own observation...

myDSL... you can't go wrong with it. Its not perfect but it is well worth the price. ^_^

PLDT brod, try their wirless 512 kbps.

I think its a very good solution for PLDT since they ran out of ports in their wired
DSL.

.........my dsl pro ako.......almost 4yrs nako ga subscribe.......ii dont know ngano these past 4 months la ko nila gi singil sa dsl, phone ra ang nka charge. amo gipa check sa ila wala man daw koy bayranan........sarap ng buhay!!!......

Morag impyerno akong giagian sa Bayantel, despite the fact nga ni-testing ra ko sa ilang DSL. That time, bag-o ra ko nicancel sa PT & T / GreenDot kay usa ka buwan, sigeg putol. Nipasalig ang Bayantel nga ngilngig kuno ilaha. Reliable kaayo.

Sa usa ka semana namong testing, makapamalikas ka kay pwerteng hinaya. Ga-upgrade kuno ingon akong contact, pero pagtawag nako sa office hagbay ra daw gi-upgrade. Request kog technician, wa gyud moabot. Akong gipa-cancel. Ako pa giingnan nga ako na lang mohatod sa ilang DSL modem.

Nabuang hinuon kay sigehan kog padala og bill nga P 8,000. P 8,000!!! Naa pay law firm sigeg follow up. Ako giistoryahan ang account executive, ok na daw, pero hangtod karon sige padala og letter ang law firm up to September. Basig next month, prisohon na ko ani.

Advice to all: Beware of Bayantel. If you insist, then by all means, do so at your own risk.

As far the globe is concerned they have a 995/monthly promo the speed 386 is decent but as far as the billing is concerned medyo wla sila claro, they said 995 daw monthly for the first month I was charged with 1300+ when I called up the customer service they said that there was an advance daw for the next month.

If money is not an issue go for the highest plan otherwise you'd be made like a sitting duck for it.

Got bayantel @ 512Kbps for 2.7k/month. Very reliable for me for the past year. Ethernet connection from their modem and a static IP.

Also got globe @ 384Kbps for 1k/month (995), has a habit of cutting off on Friday night or so.. Speedtouch USB connection, dynamic IP.

Now that globe is offering 2Mbps for 3k/month, I think I'm seriously considering migrating over to Globe fully unless there is a better deal from Bayantel.

Happy with PLDT. Nice perks probably because one of the pioneers of their DSL. I tried Globe for the same PLDT speed. That was just my personal experience. Don't take my word for it though because technically DSL service varies from location, technology and circumstance.
