It's speculated that Mary is pregnant during the Christmas Special. If that's the case, I hope the baby will be a boy so Matthew can die or leave or whatever. Season 3 Matthew is so annoying anyway. As long as Lady Mary stays.

I knew the actor was leaving so I wasn't surprised at all. I was never a fan of Matthew, I was always a Mary fan and with him gone all the more Mary. Plus them getting together got boring. The reason I loved season 2 so much was the angst, the pain, the high drama. I feel like them getting married and happy in season 3 really brought both their characters down a notch. Here's to season 4 and more drama.
