    We were bullied by the west for 400 years. Mao nga nanad atong lahi nga magpalaban.
    Patriotic and inspiring kaayo paminawon to say that we should stand on our own but the truth is we can't. At least not yet.

    Decline doesn't necessarily mean stagnation... the U.S. economy is still going to recover. What the author means is that the U.S. will fall behind China in absolute economic terms like market size but they will continue to have a much higher income level.

    ^Yeah right. Remember the most powerful countries before? like Egypt? Italy?

    look at them now?

    What I mean is, if they wont do smething to reform or re-evaluate the current decline then they'll end up just like those...

    and by the way, why bother much about a country who cares less about us?

    Yes, we have a treaty but that doesn't mean it's their priority.
