its nice to note also that the quality and practicality of the pentax optics used in s5i/s5n/s5z are so good that its used by many other manufactures...(they actually use the pentax lens on thier units) e.g. casio exilim

another suggestion would be a Fujifilm F10. it is a 6.3 MP cam though but priced similar to a 5MP. bought mine in bangkok for 18.8k pesos equivalent. ambot pila kaha ni dire sa ato.

this cam has an excellent battery life of 500 shots per charge (CIPA standard), 2.5" LCD, a 1/1.7" CCD and low light capability. pero dili gyud ni best cam as it has its cons.

Mao sad na isa nakong gi consider sa A95 bai ang battery.. Nakapalit na man ko ug sanyo 2500 ni markyap, I used it with my A85 and grabe jud ka excellent iya performance.
My aunt insist to buy my A85 at the end of this month so I need a replacement.

I include A95 in my choices because of battery, compact flash, and camera case that I already have. Pero, ni consider sad ko ug lain nga cam if naa pa mas nindot ug image quality and functionality sa A95...

if these are your condiderations then the a95 is a better choice

I used to own a Sony F717 5MP cam. Bought it second hand for $400. Gibaligya nako, palit ko 300D and 20D. Karon nagmahay ko kaw bug-at kaayo ako cam when I travel (plus lens). Ang Sony F717 was the best one for travel so far, murag SLR ang performance ato .... Plus pwede pa nimo magamit if you're into infrared photography. Last time ang local price ani niya was around 50K+ ... but I've heard ni-ubos na ni siya karon to somewhere less P20K.

Does anyone have an idea how much is the cheapest digicam in HK and where (in HK) I can buy it? I'm planning to get a Canon A510 unta for less than P10k coz in US one can get it for $150; in Ayala yesterday it was around P15k to P16k....... naa pod FujiFinePix S3000 tag $160.... I hope to get a cheaper one in HK unta if anyone has an idea........

Nalibog na jud ko ani...
My first choice was canon A95.. Pero naibog man ko sa Kodak Z740 or Z7590 because less man ang price sa amazon.de compare sa Canon A95 and 10x pa ang optical zoom...
Tag 269 Euro na lang ang Kodak Z740 and Z7590 (arround 18k+ in peso)... unya ang canon A95 kay tag 281.41 Euro (arround 19k+ in peso)...

Unsa kaha best choice ani? Ok ra ba ang kodak Z7590 or Z740? or padayon lang ko sa A95?
