i suggest you read literatures about distemper. low chance of survival then high risk of infecting other dogs in your household. questions here are - (1) can you sustain lifelong of nursing the survivor-dog, (2) once infected, a dog will be forever "carrier" of the virus, thus pose a continuing threat to other dogs, so are you willing to expose your other dogs with this threat forever?

ill try nlng sa jd if makaya pa niya. if tan.aw nako weak njd cya. atleast i did my best.

ayaw i put down. naa koy dog na nag distemper sad. until now makahilak ghapon ko maka remember niya. he was my first baby jud. dako kau kog gasto sa vet ato but na uli-an xa. the problem was. wala na naulian iyang "patol" mu kirig xa from time to time jud. after a year he died. but atleast i tried to longer his life. mo give up mana cla if dna jud nila makaya. but samtang ga fight pa imong dog fight for him sad. ayaw xa pasagdi. please atleast try to prolong his life with u please

try pabukal ug kamunggay nya i blender. nya isabay sa iya food. my aunt did this sa iyang rot sad atong nagka distemper ang rot. ug atay sa baboy. buyag naka recover iyang rot. karon wala na xay trace sa distemper.

for your info bai, this happened to me already.
and i dont relish the thought.

around 2009, i had a Ph Gr Champ Pug which i love dearly...
he caught distemper even though he was updated of all his vaccinations.
after only 2 days he died. my vet recommended all my dogs to undergo distemper testing
it was fortunate nga wala siyay natakdan nga laing dogs (or maybe their vaccines held-off vs the virus)

but i was on the brink of having any of the my dog then undergo euthanasia...
believe me, it was a very very hard decision, i was briefed thoroughly by my vet about the disease.
after a hard thought, i gave her (my vet) the go signal to put to sleep any dog in my kennel that will be positive of distemper.

you may say "its very cruel of me to do that" but if you think on general terms... im doing that to save
the others that are not afflicted yet. during that time, i had several titled dogs and to compromise their safety will be dumber thing to do.
