...hehehe, dili na pwede bro, lain ang Client Access Licensing (CALs) agreement sa Server ug workstation. Wala ka lain choice palit jud ka ug Server based. Same with Linux, but if Server you can get as many as you can as long as kaya sa Server.

...Check this out, Microsoft Volume Licensing - Client Access License (CAL) Guide

Seriously? You don't need Server 2012 to have a FILE SERVER. It's overkill and expensive (if you actually buy it).
Just build a Linux Box with open source OS like ClearOS or other distributions.

...to be clear, 10 concurrent users limit to connect to the workstation regardless kung linux box or pc. To be specific, don't forget to grab a Server-based Linux box, such as solely jud for Server-based application.

What are you talking about 10 concurrent user limit to connect to the workstation?
I'm talking about setting up a linux box as a file server. Linux is free and you don't need CALs to connect to it. If you have Windows XP/7 as clients then you need to buy them separately.

...diba sa file server mo access man ang mga clients or users? If your File Server was built on just a linux workstation you will suffer from at least 10 concurrent users accessing to it. Now, if let's say you have 50 users sa n u Organization or Company, since kay File Server 40 users could not able to access kung masayop ka pagpili sa Linux box. Linux box is not just a Linux box, naa sad na silay purpose what is it solely for?

...so, as an experienced IT consultant na think first the advantage before disadvantages will takeover.
