sounds very interesting..
sadly wa pa jd ko kabasa sa Catcher in the Rye...but I read another Salinger book sauna...no, actually short story man to, dili jd book. Franny and Zooey ang title. very deep story about people who didn't seem to be satisfied about who they were...or something like it.
the book has a very good opening line..makes u want to flip the pages of the this thin paperback... it might be angst-ridden but its very raw... raw of a teenage angst...we have a holden caulfield in us ...

Read it millions of years ago when the air was ruled by Led Zep. hehehe. I plan to get it for a friend. I'll read it first.hehehe.

read Catcher in the Rye coz i was intrigued about it in the Conspiracy Theory movie.
can't remember much of the story anymore, but i do remember that it left me feeling quite depressed... and a feeling like the unbearable lightness of being.
i like books that can move me. hmm, maybe i should get a copy for keeps.
i liked, liked , liked holden, he's one of fiction's creations that i truly wish i could meet and talk to, besides wil ohmsford and david copperfield...
anybody who has ever read zafra will see and hear salinger's style in hers...i mean her earlier works, that is...v46
zafra? jessica?
funny.
i feel holden-esque everyday.

j.d salinger author sa catcher in the rye
we read this book in high school (it was compulsory for english class). I always hated books, but it single-handedly erased my bad assumptions about them. It's a book that actually thought what i had thought.
After that, I started reading other stuff.
