Another Update coming from Malacañan Palace: 15 minutes ago.
The PHILIPPINE NAVY has deployed its naval ships, BRP Semeon Castro (PG 374) and BRP Hilario Ruiz (PG 37and a team of Naval Special Operations Group (NAVSOG) at around 181800H August 2012 to conductunderwater and surface search and rescue (SAR) operations in the waters of Masbate. Commodore Abraham Celzo, Commander of Naval Forces Southern Luzon has directed the said vessels and unit to conduct SAR upon receiving information that CESSNA 172 plane transporting local government officials had crashed in the vicinity of Brgy. Ibingin, Masbate.Progress Report to follow.

Adm-02] DOTC Sec. Mar Roxas has accepted the offer of help from US Naval Attache Captain Sutherland to join the search and rescue operations using a USG Fleet Survey Team on standby.
unsa kahay cause nga nagcrash man ang cessna plane.pero just hoping for a quick recovery sa mga passengers and hope all will be accounted for safely.
Hope they find him soon ...

On the vigil for Secretary Jesse Robredo

A vigil has begun in the National Shrine of the Divine Child inside the La Salle Greenhills (LSGH) campus in Mandaluyong City for the intention of the successful rescue of Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Jesse Robredo and others missing from his flight. We ask those who wish to join our fellow citizens in prayer to go to LSGH and join their fellow citizens at this time of deep concern. We ask that you keep the families of Secretary Robredo and those still missing, and those engaged in rescue efforts in your prayers as well.
